One day, George the Anteater began to grow. For months, he was the best attraction in the zoo. When his enclosure began to look too small for him yet again, the zookeeper chuckled and said, "George, why you're so big now, you could reach for the stars and catch one!" George thought that sounded rather tasty, so one night he snuck out of the zoo and sought out the highest point he could find.

Now, anteaters are known to be very capable climbers, so when George found a tall flat tree without branches reaching high up into the night sky, he didn't hesitate at all before quickly shimmying his way up to the top floor of a high-rise apartment building. Then, reaching out his long and agile tongue, he plucked a star right out of the night sky like a blueberry. It was indeed tasty. George was pleased.

Eventually the authorities, scientists, and dreamers were upset by the darkening of the night sky, and people with loud speakers and bright lights pointed their attention at George. He was so startled that he dropped a star, making everyone below run and scream, and stardust erupt all over the streets.
